(Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Teppei Tachibana, stock code: 3657, hereinafter "PHD"), is pleased to announce that it will open a new production studio, 100studio Seoul, in Seoul Korea, to expand its business. This will be 100studio's second overseas studio, following 100studio Taipei.

■ Background of the establishment of 100studio Seoul
HIKE signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for an industry-academia collaboration agreement with ChungKang College of Cultural Industries in South Korea in March 2024. As South Korea's first university specializing in the cultural industry, the school continues to produce excellent talent for the entertainment industry. 100studio representative Mr. Horiguchi also felt great potential in the skills of Korean anime creators after seeing the high-quality works of the students.
With the establishment of 100studio Seoul, we hope to create an environment where Japanese and Korean anime creators can work together, and eventually aim to have creators affiliated with 100studio Seoul serve as main staff members in projects with Japan's 100studio.

■ Expand studio size to 20 people by 2026
The establishment of 100studio Seoul is scheduled to be completed by October 2024, and five to six creators will be hired by March 2025. After that, the creators affiliated with 100studio Seoul will be involved in production collaborations on works produced by 100studio Japan.
The studio plans to expand to 20 people by 2026 and aim to independently produce TV series based on manga. 100studio Seoul members will then be directly in charge of directing and character design, establishing their own unique 100studio Seoul brand.

We believe that by establishing a new studio in Seoul, where there are many talented creators, we will be able to further enhance 100studio's creative capabilities.
First of all, we will create a production environment that will satisfy not only Korean anime creators, but also client companies who want to commission production. We will also do our best to produce excellent animation works at 100studio Seoul, so that we can gain the trust of Korean client companies in animation production through results and achievements.
100studio will continue to take on the challenge of creating animation works for the world from the newly established 100studio Seoul as well as its bases both in Japan and overseas.

■ Overview of 100studio

The studio was established in May 2021 as a "studio supporting creators" with the aim of "enriching people's hearts through animation." 100studio plans and produces all types of animation, including TV, theater, streaming, games, and music videos. It is responsible for the animation production of the original theatrical animation "A Few Moments of Cheers," which was released in June 2024, and the TV anime "Quality Assurance in another world" which was released in July 2024.
