Initiatives as part of the business process
We are continuously reviewing the power consumption across the group through measures such as reducing energy usage by consolidating locations and promoting the introduction of LED lighting in offices. Additionally, we are advancing paperless initiatives by digitalizing internal applications and meetings, contributing to CO2 reduction through business activities. Furthermore, by actively disclosing the activities of our group, we aim to foster communication with society regarding environmental matters.
Response to Climate Change
The GHG emissions (Scope 1 and 2) for our 15th fiscal year were 19.0 tons of CO2, which is a relatively low value. The GHG emissions related to the operations of our group will be calculated through the activities of the Sustainability Committee in the future. Based on these results, we will set indicators or targets and continue our efforts toward realizing a low-carbon society.
Recycling Initiatives
We promote the 3Rs—Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle—within the company across all our offices. Each office ensures strict waste separation and strives to minimize waste by reducing printed materials and regularly reviewing the appropriate quantities needed.
